Terms of use

Interim

Interim policy — pending formal legal review and not yet binding. The controller entity and governing-law jurisdiction are placeholders to confirm before these terms take effect. This is not legal advice.

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of this website (the “Site”), operated by Rhodd Foundation. By accessing or using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. The Site and Rhodd

The Site is informational — it describes Rhodd, a deterministic system architecture compiler that is currently pre-release (v0.1.0-rc.1). The Rhodd software itself is distributed separately and governed by the licence in its repository, not by these terms. Nothing on the Site is a commitment to any feature, timeline, or level of availability.

3. Beta program

You can join the Rhodd beta from the form on this site at /beta. Joining is optional; we use the email you submit only to contact you about the beta, on the basis of your consent (see the privacy policy). The beta is pre-release: access is offered at our discretion and may change, pause, or end at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access to it; do not scrape it or use it through automated means in a way that burdens the service; and do not misrepresent your affiliation with us. We may restrict access if the Site is misused.

5. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, layout, and the Rhodd name and mark are owned by Rhodd Foundation or its licensors. These terms grant you no rights in them beyond viewing the Site. The open-source Rhodd compiler is a separate matter, covered by its repository licence.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to external sites we do not control, including GitHub. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

7. No warranty

The Site and any pre-release software it describes are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Pre-release software may be incomplete or change without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rhodd Foundation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms, which carry the updated date shown above.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms: legal@rhodd.dev. For data and privacy, see the privacy policy. You can join the beta at /beta.
